Notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals will be received by the The Village of Riverwoods - Village Hall, Riverwoods, Illinois, for the "Federal Life Building Demolition" in accordance with the instructions to bidders, Bid Package and Bid Document Supplement. Bids will be received for the following bid package:
- Federal Life Building Demolition
Bid documents may be obtained by submitting a written request to the Construction Manager, W.B. Olson, Inc., 3235 Arnold Lane, N01thbrook, Illinois 60062 Attention: Nicole Cosso.
Proposals will be received until 11 :00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Village of RiverwoodsVillage Hall, 300 Portwine Rd, Riverwoods, IL 60015, at which time and place all bids will be publicly read. Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. The public opening is for information only and should not be considered accepting or rejecting any bid. Award to the successful bidder will be made within sixty (60) days.
The contractor is responsible for all measurements and must personally inspect the site to verify the scope of the work to be bid. A pre-bid walk through will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, at 09:00 a.m. at the project site: 3750 Deerfield Rd., Riverwoods, IL 60015. The successful bidder must comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings, or enactments of any governmental authority which apply to the work or the project. The successful bidder shall pay Lake County, Illinois Prevailing Wages as required by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and utilize equal opportunity hiring practices.
Bidders are required to use the proposal form supplied with the Bid Document Supplement. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked on the outside "SEALED BID: Village of Riverwoods - Federal Life Building Demolition Project."
