PROJECT EVALUATION COMMITTEE

The establishment of a Project Evaluation Committee offers several key benefits:

• Improved Decision-Making: The Committee ensures that each project brought before the Board is fully developed, complete with cost estimates, feasibility analysis, and clear benefits.
• Streamlined Process: Projects will be vetted, consolidated, and better prepared before being presented to the Board, reducing meeting inefficiencies.
• Transparency: Residents and stakeholders will have a clear pathway for submitting ideas and seeing the status of each proposal.
• Accountability: The Committee will provide clear justifications for recommending or declining projects, ensuring fairness and consistency.
• Time Efficiency: Board meetings will be more efficient as pre-vetted projects eliminate the need for prolonged fact-finding discussions.

In order for any proposal to be reviewed for consideration, it must be submitted via the online form below that requires answers to the following key questions:

• Time/$ investment

PUBLIC WEBSITE PUBLISHING

Upon review by the Committee Chair, the idea is forwarded to the website administrator for publishing on the Village website, under a new section “Public Ideas & Suggestions,” and in the electronic newsletter.

E-NEWSLETTER MENTION WITH VOTING POLL

The newsletter template has a polling tool, allowing newsletter recipients to “vote” 👍/👎 with a 14 day deadline.

MONTHLY REVIEW AND PRESENTATION TO THE BOARD

Poll results and general idea summary is presented to the Board as a discussion item to determine if it deserves further attention on the agenda.
