Alcohol/Tobacco Compliance Checks
On 05/20/23 during evening hours, police conducted compliance checks at businesses selling alcohol and/or tobacco. At 6:00 p.m., police cited LISA PENCKOFER, female, age 51, of Country Club Dr, Prospect Heights IL, for selling alcohol to an underage agent at a business in the 1200 block of Saunders Rd. She is scheduled to appear at an administrative hearing at Riverwoods Village Hall on 06/15/23.
DUI Arrests
On 05/26/2023 at 11:02 p.m., police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Rd and Portwine Rd and arrested the driver, LYNNETTE GOMEZ, female, age 25, of the 2500 block of N. Monitor Av, Chicago, IL, for Speeding, Operating a Vehicle while the Registration is Suspended for Non-Insurance, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Endangering the Life/Health of a Child. She was released on a $3,000.00 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on 06/28/2023.
On 05/27/2023 at 10:33 p.m., police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Rd and Portwine Rd and arrested the driver, MICHAEL T. NICHOLS, male, age 24, of the 100 block of Sioux Av, Carpentersville, IL, for Speeding and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was released on a $3,000.00 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on 06/28/2023.
On 05/28/2023 at 3:26 a.m., police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Rd and Portwine Rd and arrested the driver, CHRISTOPHER F. COLLINS, male, age 27, of the 700 block of Charlemagne Dr, Northbrook, IL, for Speeding and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was released on a $3,000.00 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on 06/28/2023.
