Commercial Burglary
On 03-18-23 at 11:38 pm, police responded to a commercial business burglar alarm in the 2000 block of Milwaukee Avenue and discovered that a forcible burglary had just occurred. It was determined that a single, male, offender broke the glass in the front door to gain entry to the business. The offender took cash from the register and assorted vape and cigarette products that were offered for sale. The offender left the area N/B on Milwaukee Avenue in a silver-colored Mercedes vehicle. The incident is under further investigation.
DUI Arrests
On 03/17/2023, at 3:21 a.m., police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Road and Portwine Road and arrested the driver, TOBI S. ADEBOYEJO, male, age 38, of the 0-100 block of Jackson Lane, Streamwood, IL, for Speeding, Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was released on a $3,000.00 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on 04/12/2023.
