Open Burning is PROHIBITED when an Air Quality Alert or Fire Alert is automatically declared by the Village President under the following conditions:

Open Burning is PERMITTED when the AIR QUALITY STATUS is GREEN or YELLOW. It is PROHIBITED when the Air Quality Index is over 100.

Open Burning is PROHIBITED during RED FLAG WARNINGS. A Fire Weather Watch or Red Flag Warning is issued when the combination of dry fuels and weather conditions support extreme fire danger.
