Zoning Board of Appeals

The purpose of the Zoning Board of Appeals is to review requests for variations to existing provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and to hold public hearings when requested by a petitioning property owner.

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow the petitioner the opportunity to present the case that strict application of the Zoning Regulations will impose unusual or impractical hardship, and that such variation of the strict application of the terms of the Zoning Regulations is in harmony with the general intent and purpose thereof.

The Zoning Board of Appeals will make their recommendation to the Village Board of Trustees in the manner outlined in the Village Zoning Regulations.

All Zoning Board of Appeals meetings are open to the public and are held at the Village Hall. Meetings are held on as needed basis.
